Each of our knit kits offers a different way to spend time with our materials and make something of your own.

This kit is knit in Field Fiber, our undyed yarn developed with two partners. It blends Sally Fox’s Coyote Brown organic cotton with Rambouillet wool from Cestari Sheep & Wool, and it is made fully in the USA. Its color comes from the fibers themselves. Muslin uses white wool and Umber uses black wool.

New this season, the Rib Poncho is the most involved of our three patterns and has a beautifully textured finish. It is worked on smaller needles and combines half-brioche stitch with increases and decreases, making for an engaging knit suited to intermediate makers.

Process

A yarn we developed from the ground up using Sally Fox’s Coyote brown cotton and Rambouillet wool from Cestari Sheep & Wool. It’s entirely made in the USA, naturally colored without any dyes, and has this beautiful warm hue that only comes from the fiber itself. Lofty, airy, and warm. This is the same yarn used in our Field Fiber sweaters and accessories. You can read more about the process here.
